Lights of Love

A Cherished Tradition

Come see a beautiful sight that will warm your heart this holiday season--Christmas trees overflowing with silver-star ornaments given in honor or in memory of someone special. A cherished tradition for over 20 years, the Lights of Love trees are a visual reminder of love felt throughout the year. Donate to the St. Elizabeth Foundation this holiday season and a personalized silver-star ornament with the name of your loved one, colleague or friend will be placed on the trees for all to see and enjoy.

Raising Funds for an Angel Eye Camera System

Every year Lights of Love helps support a worthy project at the hospital. This year we are raising funds for an Angel Eye camera system for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Babies often have to stay for weeks or even months in the NICU, and parents may be unable to stay at the hospital due to work and other obligations—especially if they live outside of Lincoln. This bedside camera system helps promote bonding by allowing a parent and other family members view their baby 24 hours a day when they cannot be at the NICU. The parent simply logs into a secure account from a smartphone, tablet or laptop and are able to see and even talk to their baby. Being able to connect remotely helps to reduce parent’s anxiety and promote bonding with the baby.

Come See the Trees at CHI Health St. Elizabeth

We are grateful to you for every gift and every dollar! The Lights of Love trees will be on display until Friday, January 5th, on the 1st level of St. Elizabeth in the walkway near Admissions.
